For a short period between 2017 - early 2018, the highest-priced upgrades included one or two codes to gift a Standard Edition Founder's Pack to a friend. Years ago, there used to be Founder's Packs for the original PvE game Save the World (which existed long before Battle Royale, and is also the sole focus of this subreddit). There aren't any 'special editions of the game that come during sales', that's not a real thing.
